"LUTHERAN HOSPITAL SUCKS" THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR IT...NURSES ARE PIECES OF GARBAGE THERE RUDE LAZY ALL THEY DO IS SIT AND RUN THERE DAMN MOUTHS, IF THEY DONT LIKE TAKING CARE OF PEOPLE THEY SHOULD NOT THERE!!! ITS PRETTY SAD THAT MY LONG TIME CLOSE FRIEND LIKE A BROTHER TO ME IS LAYING IN THERE AND ON A VENT KIDNEYS ARENT WORKING ON DIALYSIS GETTING A FEEDING TUBE AND A TRAC AND MAY BE BRAIN DEAD ALL BECAUSE THEY DIDNT PAY ANY ATTENTION HE WENT THERE CAUSE OF A BAD TOOTH INFECTION THEY DID SURGERY HE WAS FINE THEY GAVE HIM WAY TO MUCH PAIN MEDICINE HE COULDN'T EVEN FUNCTION HE FELL ASLEEP AND HAD STOPPED BREATHING BECAUSE HIS WIFE JUST HAPPENED TO WAKE UP AND HE WAS BLUE HE WAS DEAD AND HAD BEEN FOR HALF HOUR OR MORE AND THEN IT TOOK THEM 20 MINUTES TO GET THERE *** TOGETHER AND FINALLY GET IN HIS ROOM AND BRING HIM BACK AND NOW HE IS BASICALLY GONE JUST HAD A NEW GRANDBABY LOVED BEING A GRANDPA HE IS ONLY 48 THAT ISNT EVEN THAT OLD HIS LIFE IS OVER BECAUSE THE GARBAGE THAT WORKS THERE THEY SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE *** KARMA IS A *** 3RD SHIFT 3RD FLOOR PIECES OF ***

Terrible ER visit
My 87 yr old mother fell and hit her head and had an instant "nuggy". I took her to the er, we checked in and sat in that waiting room for 2 HOURS.
When they did finally call us back to check vitals her "nuggy" had gone down. I asked the nurse once they take her vitals will we be waiting for another 2 or 3 hours and she said "more than likely". What kind of ER service is that? The nurse said you can always call her dr.
in the morning if you don't want to wait. The website saying the wait is 24 minutes is a blatant lie! Having to wait up to 5 hours to see someone in an er is ridiculous especially for an 87 yr old. No one came to check on anyone in that waiting room.
Several people in there were angry for having to wait so long and they were there before I was. I think this may be our last vs to Lutheran.

Terrible Care
Took my wife to the ER for extreme abdominal pain which they gave her an injection of pain medication. The injection didn't work we called the nurse and said she needed something else.
It took them close to an hour to get someone in to finally give her a diffrent medication for the pain.
During that time the pain, plus the unbearably hot room, made her nauseous and we called the nurse again to get something for her to throw up in. No one came to the room to give her something to throw up in for a half hour when they brought the other pain medication.
Since the room was so hot she wanted some water or ice at least it took two and a half hours to get a simple bottle of water.

No concern for caregivers

Was brought in my ambulance on June 15 at about 12:30 pm because a piece of celery got stuck in throat ,couldn't breathe ,they gave me treatments ( breathing and oxygen)
So contacted patient customer service ,thought they really cared ,was I wrong received a phone call from head dr. He proceeded to tell me why I was sent home was my fault because I said I wanted to leave but who am I to tell Dr that I wouldn't stay and if that was true how come I sent my husband home to get me things to stay overnight which he did and came back with ,he also missed the point that they let me go home still having trouble breathing and coughing ,had my husband and sister there as witnesses ,I called patient customer service again after speaking to that Dr and never heard back from them ,received a bill and now expected to pay ,why ?
What did they do ? '
Doctors seem to be leaving Lutheran Hospital right and left .Wow what does that tell you .Let me think in the last 10 years I have been though 4 doctors. I am sure this comment will be buried, by there little wed bunny's And I will be I the 'WRONG.Grammatically I am no genius and this is not perfect.But for all those people out there I want to make my point. Just a norrmal "GUY"
